We developed the new tagline and updated brand pillars for Windows 10 Pro, and rewrote the Windows Commercial Storybook, the authoritative resource and creative bible for Windows 10 Pro OEM hardware and marketing partners.

Steelcase needed to differentiate its premium Coalesse brand

Coalesse is Steelcase's premium design brand. A clear voice is one of the most powerful assets a brand can have. Coalesse's voice orients it within the Steelcase family of brands and the workplace industry at large. We provide ongoing strategy and stewardship of the company’s brand communications, spanning from designing the messaging architecture and varied brand campaigns, to conceptualizing and authoring important editorial content across multiple channels.

Girl Rising needed to redefine its mission  

Girl Rising is a celebrated documentary film and education group focused on global change through girls' education and empowerment. We conducted a concentrated branding and communications exercise at the time of this celebrated documentary film group’s transition to non-profit status as a social advocacy organization. We closely interviewed key team and board members in order to build consensus about the path of growth ahead, then created new brand narratives to bring clarity to Girl Rising’s mission.

Leading American lighting company Visual Comfort recently underwent an expansion from a high-end designer brand into a merged family of legacy brands for every tier of the market. After many years of creating signature market communications for the original company, we’ve added to our scope the development of a series of videos and other media introducing the new parent company and its varied brands, to be released in 2020.

Turnstone is the starter design brand of legendary furniture company Steelcase. Turnstone found itself in need of a brand refresh to face a changing workplace-lifestyle market. We came in to write a new brand story and stayed to help redefine Turnstone’s approach to its audience. We then developed these narratives into a series of brand campaigns, with assets including research,rubrics and a range of editorial and video communications.

Skype needed new insight, positioning and partnerships at a pivotal point in its evolution

Microsoft brought us in to help illuminate the soul of Skype, one of the most iconic brands in the world of technology.   We worked with their team to develop a story that would bring Skype into a new era while also developing a partnerships strategy to bring other brands into Skype. As part of this project, we also rewrote all consumer-facing copy to bring both loyal and lapsed fans along on the journey.
